I have to say as an Aerospace Engineer, I had alot of feelings towards the final landing of Discovery. I remember seeing it on the news constantly throughout my childhood, so its safe to say Discovery was one of the many reasons i was drawn to space. Although it is sad to see such an influential spacecraft retired, it only leaves room for future ships to break new ground.
